Mid-Kentucky Chorus Concert…

The Mid-Kentucky Chorus performs regularly in Lebanon and each concert is a special event, no doubt.

On Fri., Oct. 9, the Chorus will present “At The Hop!,” featuring the music of Chubby Checker, Leslie Gore, Danny & The Juniors, Bill Haley & The Comets, Connie Francis, The Shirelles, The Temptations, The Chiffons, Jerry Lee Lewis, Elvis Presley, The Coasters and more! And who remembers Wolf Man Jack?

Join the Chorus for a night of rockin’, rollin’ and reelin’ with music from the 1950s and ‘60s and be transported back to the era that gave birth to Doo-wop, bobby socks, poodle skirts and onto go-go boots and big bouffants.

The Concert will be held at the awe-inspiring Angelic Hall at the Centre Square Arts & Culture Center and begins at 7:30 p.m. Reserved seating is available and tickets are $15 at the door or $12 in advance. Senior tickets are $10 in advance. Tickets can also be purchased online below, at the Lebanon Tourist & Convention Commission office at 239 N. Over the years, Concert-goers have been exposed to the exhilarating sounds of soloists Lisa Williamson, Donnie Henrickson, Collette Barney, Judith Youngblood, Gary Vidito, Scott Burress and pianest Teresa Tedder.  Started as the Community Chorus at St. Catharine, at least seven counties are represented with the majority coming from Marion, Washington and Nelson counties.
