Fagan Branch Reservoir...
Enjoy the stunning scenery of the Fagan Branch Reservoir and walk the 3.2-mile Cecil L. Gorley Naturalist Walking Trail or bring your rod and reel for some dandy fishing. It’s located just 10 minutes from downtown Lebanon. No fuel is allowed on the Reservoir but you can bring your canoe, sail boat or fishing boat with an electric motor. Fish include largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish and redear sunfish and there is a boat ramp and small dock.
In 2010, the fisheries division of the
Kentucky Department of Fish and
Wildlife Resources established a new fishing experience at
the Reservoir with a stocking of
rainbow trout. The Reservoir is also home of Fishing For Kids/Mid-Kentucky Bass Anglers Day. In 2009, nearly 1,300 people came out to enjoy this annual event. For more information, call 270.692.2491.
