Cecil L. Gorley Naturalist Trail…

The Cecil L. Gorley Naturalist Trail is not for sissies. This 3.2-mile hiking trail around the Fagan Branch Reservoir just outside downtown Lebanon is distinctive and gorgeous but it has its share of hills and steep climbs.

Noted for the 43 bridges one crosses as he or she traverses this foot tour of nature and wildlife, the trail is currently undergoing expansion into an additional 30 acres and will offer signage, viewing areas, educational materials on-site, picnic tables, benches and markers identifying natural occurrences before the end of 2011.

There is paved parking at both ends and a portion of the trail crosses the dam.
