Getting your game on…
Sports enthusiasts and spectators alike never lack for fun in Lebanon. For its size, the community has an extraordinarily lengthy line-up of all the traditional sporting activities but it also offers more eclectic choices such as disc golf, karate lessons and a reverse triathlon. There’s even stockcar racing, drag races and bowling within a 30-minute drive. Lebanon has recreational opportunities for average to serious athletes and a non-stop schedule of elementary, middle and high school competitions, organized youth and adult leagues and fitness programs. Lebanon is also an outdoors paradise. Just outside the downtown area is a deer hunting mecca and fishing paradises such as Marion County Sportsman’s Lake and Fagan Branch Reservoir. Wild game is plentiful in the community and there are organized outdoor competitions for children and adults also.

Special itineraries
♥ Heart of Kentucky Great Golf Getaway – Includes a round at the 18-hole Rosewood Golf & Country Club, a special round at the beautiful and challenging 9-hole Lebanon Country Club, overnight lodging (double occupancy) at Hampton Inn, hot breakfast and welcome gifts.
Lebanon Country Club
Known statewide for its annual Lebanon Labor Day Invitational, this is the finest 9-hole course in the state. Immaculately groomed with tight fairways, fast greens and just enough turns and blind shots to challenge the better golfers, this course is not so harsh that beginners can’t enjoy themselves. The back nine is played from different tee locations, which changes the strategy from tee shots to approach shots. This is a fun course that has a stocked pro shop with comfortable seating and a big screen TV.
Rosewood Golf & Country Club
This 18-hole beauty opened in June 2006. Its features include some long par 5s, challenging par 3s and scenic beauty throughout. Carved out of the rolling pastures of Lebanon’s beautiful countryside, this course has surprisingly mature greens and healthy fairways to go along with its progressing roughs. There are all the catchy amenities such as bridges, streams, forests and one hole requires carrying a small lake. Some greens are enveloped by groves of native trees and a gallery of diners watches the #9 and #18 greens from the deck of the restaurant. Rosewood also offers a full-service restaurant and bar with a menu that has something for all tastes, including a nice selection of wines and tasty desserts.

♥ Fishing Escape Trip – Enjoy a double decker fishing delight at Marion County Sportsman's Lake and Fagan Branch Reservoir, located less than one mile apart or 300 yards across the field. Includes overnight lodging at Hampton Inn, hot breakfast and welcome gifts.
Marion County Sportsman’s Lake
Sportsman's Lake is loaded with largemouth and smallmouth bass, catfish, crappie and hybrid bluegill, wildlife and scenic beauty. It has a concrete boat ramp (no gas engines). This is a new “old” lake that was built in 1952. Around 1990, the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources drained it and reconstructed the lakebed with channels, humps, ridgelines and points, all of which are conducive to improved fish habitat. The Sportsman’s Lake grounds can be hunted. There are squirrel, deer and waterfowl. Sportsman’s Lake is also home of the Marion County Sportsman Club. There is a clubhouse, playground and facilities for fishing, picnicking and archery.
Fagan Branch Reservoir
Fagan Branch Reservoir is 140 acres of pristine fishing paradise (max. depth - 80 ft.) with largemouth and smallmouth bass, channel cats, bluegill and redear sunfish and is surrounded by beautiful forest and the 3.2 mile Cecil L. Gorley Naturalist Walking Trail. It has a concrete boat ramp (no gas engines).
