You don't have to chase the bourbon here.  It'll find you!

  The Bourbon Chase, a 200-mile overnight relay race, carries across Kentucky and Legs 6, 7, 8 and 9 pass through Lebanon, the true Heart of Kentucky.

  Lebanon is one of your most significant stops on the Chase. You're in the Heart of Bourbon Country here and you'll find great lunch and supper options in this snazzy little community.  Enjoy quaint shops, great mom 'n' pop restaurants and entertainment while you cheer on your teammates and favorite teams.

What to expect at the Leg 8 exchange...

• Complete a brief visitor survey at the Heart of Kentucky Downtown Pavilion Farmer's Market or take it with you for later. One week from the Chase, we will draw from the surveys for numerous prizes, including three collectors Maker's mark bottles, T-shirts and other fun mementos that will remind you of your visit to Lebanon.
• The local farmers market will be open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m.
• Watch live cooper (bourbon-barrel-making) demonstrations from 4-8 p.m.  The Kentucky Fellowship of Musicians will be on stage from 5:30-8 p.m.
• Willie A's - Right on the corner, this unique diner will be serving rib-eye and barbecue dinners. Kosmic Karaoke starts at 8 p.m. and the outdoor patio is fun and relaxing.
• Cardinal Den - Right across the street, Cardinal Den is laid back. You have no idea how laid back.
• Kentucky Cooperage - Make plans to join either the 9:30 a.m. or 1 p.m. tour.  Watch the mass production of bourbon barrels on these fun and interesting free tours then hang out at the Heart of Kentucky Downtown Marketplace to see it done the old-fashioned way - by hand and hammer!
• Don't miss the new gift shop at Limestone Distillery on the bypass!
• You'll pass Henning's at Rosewood shortly after the Leg 7 exchange and, right on Main Street, you'll find Joe's Deli on Main for fresh, lighter foods, Los Mariachis for great Mexican, The Stillhouse Restaurant for a delicious buffet in a two-story historic building on Main with walls covered in art, Ragetti's Italian Food for the best pizza on the planet and Live on Main for fun entertainment, all of which are within steps of the exchange point.
