You haven't visited the Kentucky Bourbon Trail yet? Let us make it easy for you. Start your journey right at the center of the Trail in Lebanon, the geographic center of the state and true Heart of Kentucky!
Pick a night or stay the weekend. Your one-night package includes lodging for two at the Hampton Inn, dinner for two ($40 value) at your choice of 10 restaurants, two keepsake Maker's Mark rocks glasses, two “Lebanon-Heart of Kentucky” T-shirts, entry into a drawing for a rare collectors Maker's Mark bottle and complimentary hot breakfast for two.
You’ll be in the Heart of Bourbon Country. Come early Friday and take a free tour of Kentucky Cooperage, the local bourbon barrel-making factory, then take a free tour of Maker’s Mark Distillery, just minutes from your hotel. Other bourbon-related sites, such as the Heaven Hill Heritage Center, Oscar Getz Whisky Museum, 1792 Ridgemont Reserve and Jim Beam Distillery are within minutes.
Spend a day visiting interesting sites such as Historic Penn’s Store, the oldest country store in America continuously operated by the same family. It has remained intact and offers a step back in time. Tour the Marion County Quilt Trail.
You are also in the Heart of Kentucky Holy Land, where you can visit Holy Cross Catholic Church, the first Catholic church west of the Allegheny Mountains, and the Sisters of Loretto Motherhouse, a beautiful campus of historic buildings and structures that is an outdoor museum but also features the Rhodes Hall Art Gallery.
