Where else can you stand in the geographic center of the state, watch bourbon flow and barrels grown, experience some of the world's most unique sights and events and eat until you're about to bust?  Come feel the beat in Lebanon, the true Heart of Kentucky!

Enjoy the stunning scenery of the Fagan Branch Reservoir and walk the 3.2-mile Cecil L. Gorley Naturalist Walking Trail or bring your rod and reel for some dandy fishing. It’s located just 10 minutes from downtown Lebanon. No fuel is allowed on the Reservoir but you can bring your canoe, sail boat or fishing boat with an electric motor. Fish include largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegillchannel catfish and redear sunfish and there is a boat ramp and small dock.
In 2010, the fisheries division of the Kentucky Department of Fish and Wildlife Resources established a new fishing experience at the Reservoir with a stocking of rainbow trout.
The Reservoir possesses enough cold-water habitat throughout the summer months for trout to survive year-round. The Reservoir will receive 2,000 rainbow trout each January, followed by another 2,000 each November.
Anglers, unless license exempt, must purchase a trout stamp to keep trout. The daily limit is eight fish.
These stockings will provide anglers a year-round trout fishing opportunity including night fishing during the summer.
The Reservoir is also home of Fishing For Kids/Mid-Kentucky Bass Anglers Day. In 2009, nearly 1,300 people came out to enjoy this annual event.
