David Greenwell turned pro in 1979, is a 2-time Masters World Champion, 2-time Grand Masters World Champion and 3-time PDGA Player of the Year. He was inducted into the Disc Golf Hall of Fame in 1995.

Greenwell took a small area of Graham Memorial Park and turned it into a lovely but challenging 18-hole disc course by utilizing existing natural features, adding mandatory obstacles and creating some elevated holes.

Lebanon Disc Golf Open...

2009 Results | Schedule | Benefactors

Nearly 100 disc golfers descend on Graham Memorial Park's scenic 18-hole course in July to slug it out for the Lebanon Disc Golf Open crown. This is a Professional Disc Golf Association sanctioned pro-am B-tier event that, at times, is also Kentucky's United States Disc Golf Championship qualifier.

In 2010, the LDGO is Sat., July 24. There are 90 spots in the field open on a first come, first served basis to all divisions. Entry fees are $65 for Open Pro, $45 for Advanced Amateur, $35 for Intermediate Amateur and $25 for all other qualified amateur divisions.

All players will compete in two rounds and are eligible for awards and door prizes. There is a minimum $1,500 purse.

There will also be junior divisions for boys and girls - U19, U16, U13 and U10. Junior players do not have to be PDGA members and the entry fee for junior divisions is $25.

Hampton Inn of Lebanon is the official hotel of the LDGO. Ask for the special rate for LDGO players when booking your room.

Fri., July 23

♥ Dawn till dusk - Warm-ups.

Sat., July 24

♥ 9:30 a.m. - Players meeting. All course rules and schedule will be announced at that time.

♥ 10 a.m. - Play begins.

♥ 5 p.m. - Awards presentation, drawing for prizes.

►From Centre Square, drive one block south on KY 55/Spalding Ave. to traffic signal (Main St.).

►Turn left onto U.S. 68/Main St. and continue to next traffic signal.

►Turn right onto Fairgrounds Rd./S. Woodlawn Ave. Graham Memorial Park's 18-hole disc golf course is ahead on the right. It is located at 392 S. Woodlawn Ave.
