Held the second weekend in October on the Forkland Community Center grounds in Gravel Switch, this event celebrates local heritage with historical displays, crafts, music, food and more.
The event is widely known for its bean supper and drama on opening night and it features the Fox & Hound Race, one of Kentucky’s most unique fall festival foot races.
The Center features the Old Country Supper Theatre and the Forkland Abraham Lincoln & Community Center Museum, which highlights the connection of Lincoln’s grandmother - Lucey Shipley Hanks Sparrow - to the community.
