The Kentucky Young Democrats are proud to have their annual convention in Lebanon, Marion County, Kentucky! This year’s convention will be held March 2-4, 2012 at the Centre Square Complex in downtown Lebanon. Join fellow energetic young Democrats from Pikeville to Paducah in the Heart of Kentucky as we continue to grow both individually and organizationally with training sessions, elected guest speakers and forging new friendships.
Details are not finalized, but here’s some information you need to know:
- We are holding our convention in conjunction with the College Democrats of Kentucky so we can plan to work together as much as possible this year.
- KYD and CDKY leadership is hard at work to make this the most affordable and informative convention we’ve ever had.
- Updates will continuously be posted here. We’ll send out emails as we have information to share.

Important Convention Documents:
If you plan to vote for candidates at the convention or run for office yourself, you must be a member of a chartered chapter at convention. All chapters are now required to re-charter annually. If you don’t know if you are a member of a chartered group or would like to start one, please email Brendon Rose at Brendon@KyYoungDems.com to get started.
Both forms are due no later than February 2, 2012.
