The Lebanon Tourist & Convention Commission is proud to announce the hiring of an executive director
Nicky Reynolds of Oak Ridge, Tenn., has accepted the position, and the commission voted Monday evening to approve hiring Reynolds.
Reynolds is the director of communications for the Oak Ridge Convention and Visitors Bureau. Prior to that, she worked for the Tennessee Department of Tourist Development and the Chattanooga Area Convention and Visitors Bureau. She is a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, where she majored in communication.
Reynolds said she has enjoyed working with the tourist commission, and she is looking forward to getting started.
She added that she and her mother visited Lebanon recently, and she was impressed with what she called a beautiful town.
"It looks like you have a wonderful community and citizens are proud of that," Reynolds said. Her first day will be February 13, 2012.
